You know our Cellar at Mt Eden Road holds a very special place in our heart. Each wine has been carefully selected, with a focus on smaller boutique NZ producers. We were thrilled to hear that Coal Pit Wines has just been awarded the International Wine Challenge’s best New Zealand Red Wine and the International Sustainable Trophy for their 2018 Tiwha Pinot Noir! The IWC is the world’s most influential and rigorously judged wine competition, and we send our heartiest congratulations to the very talented Coal Pit team. Kelly Washington Wine Tasting: All welcome this Thursday!
For our final wine evening of 2020, we are thrilled to have Tamra from Kelly Washington Wines joining us this Thursday 10 December between 5.30-6.30pm. Tamra graduated as top scholar from Lincoln University with a degree in Viticulture and Oenology and has made delectable wines right across the globe, and we are incredibly excited to have her over from Waiheke Island for the evening. We’ll be sampling 3 of Tamra’s wines and as always on the night will be offering a 10% discount on these (and 5% across the entire cellar). We’re loving the Market Vibe this season! Have you noticed? Scarecrow Weekend Flower Markets are in full swing, and you are loving them! Every Friday in the city; and Saturday at Scarecrow Grocer, Mt Eden Road, Scarecrow Flower Markets are where you need to be! Our super talented floristry team has sourced the very best in export grade blooms so you can stock up ahead of the weekend. And for more than just flowers, visit our stall at the brand new City Centre Markets in Freyberg Square. CBD apartment dwellers, this one’s for you! Gifts, fresh organic produce, fabulous shopping caddies and more – pop along from 8.30am each Saturday and say hi to the team!

To celebrate the season, Scarecrow is running 12 Days of Holiday Giveaways on our Instagram page. Each day between 1-12 December, we have a gorgeous festive treat, including Scarecrow made sauces, cookies, NZ made products, blooms and more up for grabs.
